I am a holistic massage and hot stones therapist and am happiest when I can give my clients a wonderful relaxing and restorative treatment that really targets their needs. I work with all sorts of clients and help them with a variety of aches and pains. Some of my clients want a one off treatment to help them relax but others prefer to come more regularly especially when they can really start to see the benefits of hands-on massage. I am a firm believer in massage and how hands- on therapeutic touch, combined with knowledge of in depth massage techniques and advanced anatomy and physiology, can really help with a range of problems, for example; anxiety, headaches, aches and pains and common symptoms caused by IBS or poor breathing habits. It’s not just me that thinks so either, there’s a growing body of scientific research which all points to massage not only making us feel good but helping the body to restore balance by engaging the para-sympathetic nervous system and switching off the fight or flight stress response that can play havoc with our functioning.

I am also studying Remedial and Sports Massage which is taking my practice to another level and means I can help clients in more depth with issues arising from injury, trauma or imbalance caused by poor postural habits. This might mean helping with protracted shoulders from sitting at a desk too long, or helping someone with chronic lower back pain.

I am delighted to be working with Annie and Mark at Pilates Moves Studio. I live locally and will be holding a regular massage day at the Studio. Please take a look at my website goodlivingmassage.co.uk or call me on 07815051427 if you have any queries, or would like to talk to me in more detail about how massage could help you, before you make your first booking.

I will be at the studio Open Day on May 30th offering taster massages. Please come along and have a chat, I look forward to meeting you then.

With all best wishes, Kate
